Tursi's Latin King Funny Caption Contest Rules
By submitting an entry, you agree to the following rules.
What can I win?
First, second, and third place will win a prize. Fourth and fifth place winners will receive "Honorable Mention" but no prize is awarded.
First place winner receives a $75 gift Certificate from Tursi’s Latin King. The entire amount of the gift certificate must be used no cash value will be given for unused gift certificates.
Second prize winner receives a $50 gift Certificate from Tursi’s Latin King, with the same conditions as described above.
Third prize winner receives a $25 gift Certificate from Tursi’s Latin King, with the same conditions as described above.
Who may enter?
Anyone may enter. If you're under 18 years old, please state your age. You do not need to be a Booster Club member to enter the contest.
What do I send you to enter this contest?
Write a funny caption for the cartoon above and send it to the email address shown in the next section.
Include your name, address, email address and phone number.
Each person may submit up to 5 cartoon captions. However, only one prize will be awarded per person.
Captions will be judged by a designated panel of judges and all decisions are final.
How do I submit my caption?
Write your caption and send it to us via e-mail to captions@iastarsboosterclub.com. Please use "Caption Contest" as the subject line.
In the event that the same caption is entered by two or more persons, and the caption is considered a winner, the entry received earliest shall receive the prize.
We must receive your entry no later than the last day of each month.
How will I know if I won?
Winners will be notified by e-mail or phone and the winning entries will first appear on our home page of our web site and announced in the next months e-newsletter.
Additional rules
All prizes are non-transferable and void where prohibited by law. No cash substitution of prizes allowed.
Winners understand and agree that they are responsible for any and all taxes incurred on prizes received.
Executive Board Members are ineligible to enter or win.
Additions or deletions to these rules may be made at the discretion of Iowa Stars Booster Club and may be enacted at any time.
